New nature sounds album release: “The Blue Mountains”
Jul 30th, 2008 by andrew skeoch

Nature sounds recorded in the Blue Mountains National Park feature in our latest album release: “The Blue Mountains”. The album is an evocative sound journey into the nature of one of Australia’s most well-known landscapes.
Album description:
This recording begins with the sounds of birdsong echoing up from the depths of a gorge in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Containing the sounds of Lyrebirds, Whipbirds, Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos, and the bubbly calls of Honeyeaters, this hour-long audio album takes the listener on a sonic journey to birdsong-filled Blue Gum forests, hidden valleys with cascading streams, and spectacular open ridgetops where Silvereyes feed among banksias and heaths.
