Atherton Tablelands Dawn

This soundscape features the dawn chorus from an Australian tropical highland rainforest, recorded in the World Heritage listed highland rainforests of the Atherton Tableland.

The recording begins with overnight dew falling from leaves, a Spangles Drongo, distant Boobook Owl, and the last nocturnal crickets and frogs. Gradually this gives way to a dawn chorus of Riflebirds, Catbirds, Rufous Fantails, Wompoo Fruit-doves and other rainforest birdsong.
